Test of BE-Fuelsaver (Pinox)

How to test the product?


There are four possible tests:

1. Fuel Economy Test - Diesel Cycle / Cycle Otto (gasoline)
The test is carried out with the customer's vehicle. How to do the test, please see below.

2. Pollutants Gas Emissions analysis test - cycle Otto (gasoline)
Test performed with a gas analyzer (CO, HC, NOx).

3. Testing Opacity - Cycle Diesel
Test which measures the soot, carried out with an opacimeter.

4. Torque and Power increase test - Cycle Diesel / Cycle Otto (gasoline)
Test performed with a dynamometer.

How to realize the Fuel Economy Test?

It's very simple, anyone can do it.
You have to make at least 2 rounds of at least 100 km with your car.
First WITHOUT the BE-Fuelsaver (PINOX) and then WITH the BE-Fuelsaver (PINOX).
It is recommended to make another lap after 6 consumed tanks, to get the final result.

1. Fill the vehicle tank completely, until the fuel is visible.
   It is important to pay close attention to that there are no air bubbles in the tank.
   So it is necessary to supply very carefully.
   In small cars: move the car with the hand, so that the air come out of the tank.
   Bus: standing in the vehicle door, someone move the bus a little stepping in and out the bus,
   so that the air comes out of the tank.
   In trucks: a few hits with the foot on the tank, until the air is out.
   This supply may take some time, until the tank is filled up to the last drop.

2. Go on a road at a constant speed, always in the same gear.
   For example the fifth gear.
   The speed can be between 70 km/h and 100 km/h, but it must always be the same speed.
   Choose a speed in which to go, and stay constantly at this speed.
   When available, use the autopilot (Cruise Control, Tempomat).
   Go at least 50 km and return to the same gas station, and the same pump.
   Fill the vehicle in the same way, written in point 1 above.
   The quantity supplied indicates the car consumption without BE-Fuelsaver (PINOX).
3. Now install the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX).
   Tie the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX) on the fuel-line that feeds the engine with the fuel, BEFORE the distribution device and/or BEFORE the injection pump. Note that this option is only valid if the hose is made of metal or thin plastic, otherwise the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX) may not work. The BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX) does not work if the hose is thick rubber. Before tying the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX), it is necessary to make sure it is being done on the correct fuel-line, it only works if you fix it on the fuel-line which supply the engine with fuel and dont work on the line of return to the tank. Make sure that the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX) is tied tightly, squeezing the clamps (always use plastic cable ties for electrical cables) using pliers so that the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX) is fully in contact with the fuel-line and also that it did not unhook from the line. Use no more than 3 or 5 clamps.

4. Once installed the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX)
    go through the same path and the same way as indicated in step 2.
    Then come back to the same gas station and the same pump, fill the same way as before.
    The supplied quantity is the car consumption with the BE-FUELSAVER (PINOX).
    Usually you can see savings of at least 5% to 10%.
    But know that this is not yet the end result!

After going at least 6 full tanks, the engine will be in better mechanical conditions (cleaner).
Repeat the test (1 and 2) after going 6 full tanks, to check the actual consumption and end result of your vehicle.


What circumstances influence the fuel consumption and the test results?

- Rain consumes about 4% to 30% more fuel. The road must be dry to test the car.

- Fog, consumes about 15% more fuel. The fog worsens the combustion.

- Wind, consumes about 10% (truck 30%) more fuel.

- The outside temperature influe also in fuel consumption.

- The driving style: strong acceleration, sudden braking, bring a higher consumption.

- Keep the same speed and the same acceleration.

- Before each test all tires must have the correct pressure.

- Do not change the load of the vehicle. The tests should be done WITHOUT CHARGE, because with load the driver need to change a lot the gears and will not be possible to drive the same way both times (with and without the device).

- Make the test without air conditioning or heating on and with windows closed.

- Do the test with the lights on, because connecting the lights also influences consumption, and if necessary turn on the light in the second round, you will not get the correct result.

- The tank has to be 100% full, with no air bubbles.

- The route has to be on a road (highway) without traffic.

- The tests should be done in the same climatic conditions and with the same driver.

- During the whole test is necessary to very accurately fill the tank, supplying very precisely, since, for example, if the car consumption is 10 liters per 100 kilometers (10 km/liter) then 1 liter means already 10%. 2 liters are 20%...

If not properly fill the tank, as explained, air bubbles may stay in the tank. Our engineer can often fill up 15 liters of diesel in the truck tank, after the driver says that the tank is full ... and if the tank is not completely full, you cannot get a correct result.

- It is recommended to go as much as possible, but it is necessary to go at least one lap of 100 km. If it is more, even better, you will get a more accurate calculation of the result.
